A Thread of Hope

At only 25, Lacy’s life came crashing down. She lost her job as manager at a retail store. She was abused by her long-time boyfriend—the father of her 6-year-old son—and started using drugs to numb her anguish and heartache. In the middle of it all, she lost custody of her little boy.

“Everything was ripped from me and I felt like I was dying. I knew I needed long-term help if I was ever going to get my son back.” Lacy came to our Hope Family Center last summer and found a thread of hope that seamed the pieces of her life back together.
