Dear Friends,
It’s hard to believe in only three years, Hope Ministries will have served those who are homeless for 100 years. I believe that fact alone speaks volumes about our organization’s sustainability and of the trust our donors and this community have placed in our hands. And each day, we strive to uphold your faith in our ability to meet the current needs of the people here in central Iowa, whatever they may be.
We know that the needs of those who are homeless and near-homeless continue to grow. For that very reason, our vision includes our commitment to being a comprehensive provider of services for tthose who are displaced and destitute. That means growing, changing and expanding our services when a new need is identified. It means filling the gaps as we did when we opened our Hope Family Center to include emergency shelter beds for women and mothers with children. It means continuing to identify gaps that still exist and inviting donor financial partnership to fill them.
We are, and always have been, very intentional in our actions and undertakings. You can be assured every step we take is prayerfully considered and guided by the hands of God. In this way, and with your ongoing generous support, we will continue to bring hope to homeless and hurting men, women and children right here in our own backyard. God bless you.
God’s children.
