Dear Friends,
One of my favorite expressions is “pray and move your feet.” It’s a colorful and contemporary reminder that “faith without works is dead.” It’s also a perfect description of the work of dear friends and partners like you.
As we begin the new year, we rely on and are comforted by your prayers for our staff, volunteers, donors and especially the homeless and near-homeless guests we serve. Just as important ... you are also the hands, feet, energy and action behind those prayers.
We truly appreciate every act of volunteering ... of sharing Hope Ministries’ mission with others ... of coordinating food or clothing drives ... of remembering the poor in estate plans ... and of participating in the many other activities that ensure our faith is supported by the efforts of warm, compassionate hearts.
Your prayers are powerful. And it’s your compassion for the poor and commitment to God’s plan that give them their strength. Thank you for standing beside us in every way possible. You are truly God’s gift to the poor . . . and to Hope Ministries.
Your Partner in Ministry,

Leon Negen
