Dear Friends,
There’s a song from the 1970s that we sang around campfires, at youth retreats and in Sunday school. It’s called Pass It On and the chorus goes like this:
“That’s how it is with God’s love.
Once you’ve experienced it,
You want to sing.
It’s fresh like spring.
You want to pass it on.”
That’s the environment our staff, volunteers and residents live in each day. We receive the love of God and gratefully pass it on to those around us.
Often a client tells us, “I’ve been in a lot of rehabs, but this one is different. It’s Christ-centered.” Ministries like ours often have higher and more long-term rates of success than secular addiction recovery programs. We can only attribute this to the Good News of Jesus Christ and His Word applied in the lives of our residents.
This newsletter is about God’s love reflected in our staff, residents, volunteers and, of course, in you—our partners and friends. Thank you for allowing His love to work in you.
