A Message from the CEO |

Dear Friend, So often, the faces that appear in our doorway at Hope Ministries are filled with anguish and shame. Battered by addiction, devastated by the loss of loved ones, crushed by failure, the men and women who come for help tell us they’ve run out of strength. They don’t have the courage to go on. Ironically, this is what God wants to hear from each one of us—we can’t make it by our own strength. To those willing to hand over the reins of their lives to Him, He promises: “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:31) Becca’s story on page 3, and our cover story featuring the tremendous miracle God is working in the lives of five men from Maryland, show His promise from Isaiah is clearly at work at Hope Ministries! Thank you for helping us share His promises with these and so many other vulnerable men, women and children who are finding strength and courage through this ministry.
