Dear Partners in Mission,
 
Thank you for being a member of our Hope’s Helpers e-bulletin and helping when you can.  
 
You may know that we have four graduations a year for men in our S.T.A.R. recovery program.  CLICK HERE for more information.
 
Every graduation is a special time when we gather to celebrate the change in their lives and give God the glory and praise for the transformation of their hearts.  It’s a very inspiring event.
 
On Saturday, June 2nd, three men will graduate from our recovery program and transition to independent living once again – as healed men of God.
 
We would like to try something new and would like to invite you to participate.
 
We hope you might be willing to participate in our first card shower for these three graduates. JOHN – DIRK - DUANE
 
These men came to us over a year ago with broken and shattered lives.  Over the last 12 months they have received love, affirmation, validation, counseling, teaching and encouragement from or staff and volunteers.  They will be completing their JOURNEY OF HOPE at Hope Ministries.
 
We would invite you to buy three greeting cards and write a hand-written note of encouragement and congratulations to each of our three graduates.  If you are willing, we would ask you to let them know you are also holding them in your prayers.  
 
If you can, send your cards addressed like the example below to be received by Friday, June 1st.
 
PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE YOUR RETURN ADDRESS ON THE ENVELOPE, USE FIRST NAMES ONLY, AND DO NOT INCLUDE CHECKS OR CASH.

We will surprise them at during the graduation ceremony with a packet of cards from supporters they have never met.  What a joy that will be!
