Service and Mission Teams

Church groups are invited to participate on our SERVICE AND MISSION TEAMS held on Saturdays throughout the year.  

9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.   Service/Work Group project at Hope Ministries
11:30 a.m. Stand in line and eat with members of the community (homeless, near homeless and hungry) in our Hope Café at our Bethel Mission facility Members of the Team will participate in serving the meal
12:00 noon Meet in the Bethel Chapel for a time of reflection, prayer and presentation on homelessness and testimony from a recovery graduate
12:30 p.m.   Tour Bethel Mission – emergency shelter
12:45 p.m. Deliver food and supplies to 5-7 homeless tent camps in the woods

We wish to thank the youth group from New Covenant Church in Knoxville who participated on our Service and Mission Team visiting homeless tent camps and provided bags of food and supplies.


THIS YOUTH GROUP PARTICIPATED ON A SERVICE & MISSION TEAM IN MAY 2007.  THEY WORKED FOR TWO HOURS AT OUR HOPE BARGAIN CENTER ON A SATURDAY, EAT AT HOPE CAFÉ, HEARD A PRESENTATION ON HOMELESSNESS, TOURED OUR BETHEL MISSION FACILITY AND DELIVERED FOOD AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO SEVERAL HOMELESS TENT CAMPS.  HER THEY ARE STANDING IN THE CENTER OF ONE OF THE CAMPS.
