Bargain Center is expanding ... and you're invited to our Grand Re-Opening!

Hope Ministries is thrilled to announce the expansion of our Hope Bargain and Community Outreach Center! The public is invited to join us for a Grand Re-Opening celebration on Saturday, September 5. Our re-opening event will coincide with our first annual Walk a Mile in Their Shoes walk-a-thon that same day.

Hope Bargain & Community Outreach Center has been serving the Des Moines community and surrounding areas since 2004, providing low-cost clothing, household supplies, shoes, furniture and more. Located at 4950 NE 12th Avenue, our bargain center also serves as a donation and recycling center, as well as a hub for the more than 1,000 volunteers who cycle through our ministry each year.

The expansion will provide additional space for both retail and production in an effort to meet the growing needs of the community. In addition to offering low-cost shopping, Hope Bargain Center also provides FREE clothing and items through our Kings Closet voucher program and partnerships with area agencies and churches.

Community members are invited to join us in celebrating our grand re-opening on Saturday, September 5. The event will include special discounts, door prizes and bargains.
