Hope's Ambassadors
The purpose of the Hope’s Ambassador Program is to increase community awareness of the issues that surround homelessness and the ways Hope Ministries is addressing those issues through its programs and services. We will do this by coming alongside those in our community who feel called by the Lord to become a Hope’s Ambassador: “A credible and trusted Voice of Hope for the homeless, hungry and hurting through education, training and accountability with Hope Ministries.”
Our philosophy for this program comes from 2 Corinthians 5:20: “God has committed to us the message of HOPE. We are therefore, Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us.” In Christ, we are all called to be ambassadors for the Kingdom of God. As followers of Christ we are also asked to care for the needs of the poor. Therefore, we are inviting fellow servants to prayerfully consider partnering with Hope Ministries, on behalf of the poor, to be a Voice of Hope in our community for God’s glory. Some Hope’s Ambassadors will represent their church, others their workplace, school, or social organization. Hope’s Ambassadors will be a voice, or liaison, for Hope Ministries within their organization, and they will therefore be an invaluable partner with us as we strive to bring hope to the hopeless.
We invite you to complete and submit the registration below to begin the process of becoming a Hope’s Ambassador.

Called to Be Faithful
Linda Fehl likes to serve ministries that place Christ front and center in their work. As a Hope Ministries Church Ambassador, she feels confident she is helping her church, Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran, share Christ’s love through action.
“My goal is to benefit Hope Ministries and to change peoples’ hearts,” she says. Members are encouraged to support Hope Ministries in very creative ways! “September was Soap and Suds Sunday, we had Little Undies Sunday, and we’ll do Green Bean Sunday for St. Patrick’s Day andmy husband says this is crazywe’ll do April Showers Bring May Towels in April.”
“All God asks us to do is be faithful,” says Linda. Here’s a partial list of more activities this very faithful church has done for Hope Ministries:
