Ham It Up
Hope Ministries (through Bethel Mission and Door of Faith) has sponsored a special annual Christmas meal for over 30 years. Over 100 volunteers serve well over 1,000 people. It takes a lot of hams to feed that many people. We will serve meals to the general public out of our Hope Café located in our Bethel Mission facility and to over 100 homeless men at the Door of Faith recovery center and to homeless women and their children at our Hope Family Center.
HAM IT UP is a community wide drive that encourages people to drop off hams at our Bethel Mission facility in the month of December.
Collecting donated hams will reduce our Ministry cost and enable us to stretch our budget dollars to better serve the homeless here in central Iowa.
Plan now for your family, department or small group to take part in HAM IT UP for our Meals for Hope Christmas and Easter Day meals.
