Spot Labor Jobs
Over the years, the Des Moines community has been gracious in remembering our Shelter guests for spot labor jobs. The following are commonly requested jobs:
• Help in moving – lifting
• Lawn work
• Shoveling snow
• Painting
• Clearing brush
• Assistance in roofing and other light construction
The demand for spot labor jobs is high at our Bethel Mission and Door of Faith facilities. These jobs provide supplemental income for our shelter guests. Call our Bethel Mission or Door of Faith facilities and request laborers. Our staff are only involved in announcing available jobs. The selection is up to employers.
