Purpose: To provide a safe structured environment while building caring relationships with children
Duties: Assist in activities including but not limited to Bible lessons, crafts , games, cooking and snack preparation, outside play, and gardening
Time Commitment: (You will choose one day and time per week)
2 hours each week for 1 year

• Be in agreement with Hope Ministries’ Mission, Statement of Faith, Core Values and Purpose
• Comfortable in praying with others
• A servant heart
• Other Qualifications or Skills

• Must have a passion for working with and nurturing children
• Must be encouraging and affirming
• Must respect and accept needs of the child
• Must be consistent in discipline situations
• Must relate well to all ages of children
• Must have positive attitude; enjoys having fun with children
• Must enjoy assisting and carrying out directions from a leader
• Must be at least 16 years of age

• Tour of Hope Ministries facilities
• Background check
• Schedule a VIP orientation
• Obtain references
• Schedule an on-site facility orientation
