Dear Friend,

If the worn-out shoes on a homeless person’s feet could talk, they would tell you heartbreaking tales ...

They’d tell you how a man who hasn’t eaten for days gets so desperate for food, he’ll climb into a dumpster for a few morsels.  They’d describe how cold it gets at night for a homeless family whose only shelter is a broken-down car or an abandoned building.  They’d share how homeless children live in constant fear, never knowing what’s going to happen next.

Thankfully, a growing number can also tell you how comforting it is to walk across the threshold of Hope Ministries and finally receive the healing and hope they need to get off the streets forever.

Our mission has and will always be to help our hurting brothers and sisters overcome the many challenges that led to their plight; show them how to start their lives anew in Christ Jesus; and, arm them with the education, job training and life skills they will need to succeed.

The demand for our services continues to grow as more people are referred to our shelters and services.  In order to be ready to care for even more people, we must raise the funds necessary to ensure our compassionate, quality, life recovery programs continue in the months and years ahead.

We are grateful to so many people who have provided financial support to sustain our ministry since 1915.   We invite you to share some of your blessings with those who are struggling right now in our community.  Rest assured, no matter how you give, your compassion will have eternal results: restored hope, renewed dignity and changed lives.   Thank you!
