Representatives of Cargill, Inc.’s contributions committee (East Des Moines plant) presented a check for $10,500 to Hope Ministries to support Hope Family Center.  This gift matches a $10,000 contribution the company gave Hope Ministries last fall.

Other ways the company has supported the new shelter and recovery program for homeless mothers and their children:

• Adopted the Family Center Playground
• Adopted a Kitchen, Dining Room and Bathroom at the Family Center.
• Employees provided 80 Christmas presents for our Head to Toe Drive

They donated 500 hamburger patties for the Hope 4 Freedom Picnic.
