Hope Café
“The only café in Des Moines where you can get three FREE meals a day 365 days a year.”
Hope Café is our public dining hall attached to our Bethel Mission facility located at 1310 – 6th Ave. Our meals are open to the public at 8:00 am, 12:00 noon, and 5:00 pm Monday through Saturday and at 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 pm on Sundays.
Hope Café is a place where anyone from the community can come and receive a free meal three times a day. Hope Ministries is able to provide this valuable service to the community thanks to the generosity of many caring individuals, churches and local businesses. Actually for more than 3 decades, community meals have been provided through Bethel Mission and Door of Faith before they merged to form Hope Ministries in July 2000.
