How much do you spend on your lunches out during the workweek? $5 a day? $25 a week?
April 15 – May 31, Hope Ministries challenges YOU to brown bag it for a week (or even longer!). Then, donate the money you save to help us feed and care for the homeless and hungry in our community!
Every month, we provide more than 10,000 meals for the homeless and hungry in central Iowa. They come to us because they have nowhere else to turn and they are hungry: hungry for food to fill their empty stomachs and hungry for better lives. For these hurting men, women and children, we offer nourishing meals, safe and comfortable shelter, and long-term recovery programs to help them to become stable, productive members of our community.
Right now, you can make a difference for the homeless and hungry! Your gift of $25 will provide more than a dozen meals for our homeless guests and residents at our Bethel Mission, Door of Faith and Hope Family Center facilities and for near-homeless individuals and families who join us in our Hope Café public dining hall.
