Thank you to our dedicated volunteers!

“Each of us has been gifted by God with time, talent and treasure. He then allows us to choose how to utilize those gifts. I’m so grateful you have chosen to invest in the lives of those served by Hope Ministries through your volunteer work. God Bless you.”
Leon Negen, President/CEO

Here at Hope Ministries, our volunteers are part of our ministry team. They partner with us in a myriad of ways, and we could not be more thankful for their involvement.

I continue to be amazed and humbled by the generous people in our community who truly have a heart for those less fortunate in our area. We truly do live in a great community!  The compassion and servant hearts that we are able to see in our volunteers each day are an inspiration. Volunteers - you are a blessing!”
—Erin Dobraska, Community Involvement & Volunteer Coordinator

Volunteers can be found at all five of Hope Ministries’ facilities every day of the week. Our M25 volunteers are high impact, serving on a regular basis and giving of themselves in a variety of ways. And the impact they have on our ministry is two-fold: they bless the men, women and children who come to Hope Ministries for food, shelter and recovery support and they also bless our staff members!

Our volunteers are special people who make our programs possible.  They love God and the people we serve.  We are grateful for each and every volunteer.  They truly make a difference in the lives of others.
Pat Mathson, Hope Family Center Children’s Ministry Coordinator

Our message to volunteers this week—and all year round—can be summed up simply: We love you … we value you … and every day we thank God for you!

I continue to be so impressed with the volunteers that help us at Hope Ministries.  From the class teachers, to morning devotions, to chapel leaders, to front desk men, to Hope Cafe’ people—every one of them has such a passion for God and sharing his love with our people.  They bring great joy to my heart and truly bless me!!!!
—Dwight Long, Director of Men’s Ministries

Our volunteers are a joy to have in the Administrative/Development Office. It is such a pleasure to see their willing hearts of service each day & we couldn’t do all the work we do within this office without their service. I thank all of our volunteers who give of their time & energy to Hope Ministries, but I especially want to thank our Administrative/Development Office volunteers who are valuable team members in our office.”

Ruby, Donor Relations Coordinator

I continue to be amazed at the people that God sends to us to carry out our work at Hope Family Center.  We have many incredibly faithful, committed and caring people who are dedicated to the recovery of the women and children we serve.  It would be impossible for us to carry out the level of service we provide men, women and children without the “hands and feet” of our M25s and group volunteers.  I am moved to tears when I think about times that I have shared with God’s people doing God’s work at Hope Ministries. Thank you for giving of your gifts, talents and time!!

Elizabeth Spragg, Director of Family Ministries
