Hope Aftercare

At Hope Ministries, we believe the life-recovery process continues well beyond completion of our program. Statistics tell us that adequate aftercare is a necessity for ongoing sobriety, mental health and spiritual development. Our desire is to help residents find support and accountability as they begin life outside our walls. That’s why we’ve developed an aftercare plan to meet the needs of our graduating individuals and families. Hope Aftercare includes ongoing case management, counseling, classes, participation in outings and donated household supplies.

Hope Aftercare for Men
Men in our life-recovery program begin working with our Hope Aftercare case manager before they even graduate. They work toward solid employment, a stable place of residence and building a support system beyond our walls. Graduates who choose to participate in our one-year Hope Aftercare program for men continue to meet regularly with our aftercare case manager. Often our case manager visits them in their home. Men in aftercare participate in outings and retreats. After one-year of aftercare, men continue to stay connected to us through our Fraternity of Hope Alumni Association – which offers opportunities for various levels of involvement, accountability and community-building activities.

Hope Aftercare for Women & Children
Hope Family Center offers up to five years of aftercare to single women and mothers with children who have graduated from our long-term recovery program. These individuals and families continue to meet with their case manager on a regular basis and also have the opportunity to continue attending classes and taking part in outings. We offer food, hygiene, paper and other products, and continue to include them in our Adopt-a-Family gift program at Christmas. We also offer aftercare at an associate level to clients who have successfully transitioned to independent living a few months early due to housing or other significant life changes. These women may not have graduated from our program, but their decisions and the changes they’ve made in their lives show they’ve grown while in our care. They stay connected with case management and receive household supplies for a period of time.
