Giving Hope Garage Sale: Hope Bargain Center provides a source of income for Hope Ministries, distributes free clothing to the homeless and near-homeless, and offers wonderful opportunities for Christian service. During “garage sale season”, we encourage you to help provide items for our Bargain Center or raise funds for Hope Ministries through garage sales. You might consider . . .

• holding a garage sale and give the proceeds to Hope Ministries
• donating items that didn’t sell at your garage sale to Hope Bargain Center
• or forgoing the time and effort of a garage sale altogether and donating your unwanted items to Hope Bargain Center!

TOTSOCE: Trick or Treat So Others Can Eat is a wonderful Halloween alternative and an opportunity to bring the light of Jesus into an otherwise dark holiday. This is a perfect project for schools, Sunday Schools and families.

Participants can Trick-or-Treat for canned goods and other non-perishables instead of (or in addition to) candy. Contact our office for official fliers and stickers for collection boxes. Collecting these items could significantly reduce a large cost to our ministry to the homeless here in central Iowa.
