Welcome
“Dating back to 1915, volunteers have played a critical role in our ministry to those who are homeless. Our programs and services are enriched by the hands and hearts of caring Christians who live out their call to serve the less fortunate. Hope Ministries is committed to an efficient and effective community involvement program in the years ahead as we seek to connect God’s people to God’s work.” —Leon Negen, President/CEO

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Hope Ministries. We are so pleased by the interest of community members who wish to help those who are homeless and hungry by volunteering with us. At Hope Ministries we see our volunteers as part of our ministry team, equipped to meet the needs of men, women and children we serve in out community. Coming face-to-face with the homeless and needy can be a life-changing experience. No longer are they faces on television, or an "issue" to discuss. Instead, they're people—men and women, boys and girls—with hopes, loves, dreams, disappointments and a compelling need for God's love. At Hope Ministries, we offer two tracks for volunteers and opportunities for groups and individuals. We invite you to consider joining our ministry team as a volunteer. Groups
This participation “track” is for those looking to participate a few times a year, either on-site or off-site.
Whether you’re a family, business, church, civic service club or other group, we have a variety of options
for you—everything from coordinating a donation drive to supplementing and serving a meal to sponsoring a
birthday party for our children at Hope Family Center.
