Position Title:
Hope Café Holiday Decorators

Facility/Location: Bethel Mission Hope Café

Relates closely with:
• Volunteer Coordinator
• Food Service Manager
• Bethel Mission Kitchen volunteers and staff
• Guests of Hope Cafe

Purpose: The Bethel Mission Hope Café offers three meals a day, 365 days a year to the homeless and hungry in the Des Moines area. The staff and other volunteers of Hope Ministries desire to create an environment which is festive, warm, and welcoming to residents, volunteers, and visitors of the Hope Café. Individual volunteers or volunteer groups will help create this atmosphere by decorating for holidays and other special occasions throughout the year.

Duties:
• Bring creative ideas and festive decorations for holidays and/or special occasions.

Time Commitment:
This volunteer opportunity is available to individuals and groups on as needed basis

Qualifications:
• Be in agreement with Hope Ministries’ Mission, Statement of Faith, Core Values and Purpose
• Comfortable with praying alongside others
• A servant heart
