Position Title:
Childcare Volunteer

Facility/Location: Hope Family Center

Relates closely with: Volunteer Coordinator, Children's Ministry Coordinator, Director of Family Ministries, Residents

Purpose: Childcare Volunteers are needed to help provide a safe and loving environment for the children at the Hope Family Center and guide them to a hope-filled future with a relationship with our savior Jesus Christ.

Duties:
Plan and implement activities such as, but not limited to, imaginative play, art and craft time, reading, outside play, games, and snack time

Time Commitment:
One or more hours per week. A one year commitment is preferred.

Qualifications:
• Be in agreement with Hope Ministries’ Mission, Statement of Faith, Core Values and Purpose
• Comfortable with praying alongside others
• A servant heart
• Passion for nurturing and caring for children
• Respects and accepts the needs of each child
• Consistent in discipline situations
• Physically able to handle children’s energy levels
• Relates well with all ages of children
• Has a positive attitude and enjoys playing with children

• Schedule an on-site facility orientation
