Position Title:
Children's Activity Leader

Facility/Location: Hope Family Center

Relates closely with: Volunteer Coordinator, Children's Ministry Coordinator, Director of Family Ministries, Other volunteers, Residents

Purpose: The number of women and children at the Hope Family Center is growing and so is the need for available and capable volunteers to provide a structured, safe environment for children. As the Children’s Activity Leader, you will work with the Children’s Ministry Coordinator and help create and organize the activities for the children at the Hope Family Center.

Duties:
Plan and implement children’s activities that include but are not limited to Bible lessons, crafts, games, cooking and snack preparation, outside play and gardening

Time Commitment:
Once weekly. A six month or one year commitment is preferred.

Qualifications:
• Be in agreement with Hope Ministries’ Mission, Statement of Faith, Core Values and Purpose
• Comfortable with praying alongside others
• A servant heart
