Position Title:
Donation Pickup Assistant

Facility/Location: Hope Bargain Center

Relates closely with:
• Manager of Thrift Ministry
• Assistant Manager of Thrift Ministry and Production and Warehouse Supervisor
• Donation Pickup Driver
• Volunteer coordinator
• Other volunteers and the general public

Purpose: Volunteers will assist the donation pickup driver by riding along and helping with the various pickups and deliveries given generously to our ministry through donations in specified locations around the Des Moines area. It is a blessing to the Hope Ministries Bargain Center when volunteers help gather these gifts so they are available to those who utilize this service.

Time Commitment:
This volunteer opportunity would entail meeting 1 or 2 times a month for 1 to 2 hours. A commitment of 6 months preferred.

Qualifications:
• Be in agreement with Hope Ministries’ Mission, Statement of Faith, Core Values and Purpose
• Comfortable with praying alongside others
• A servant heart
