Position Title:
Faith Café Meal Server

Facility/Location: Door of Faith

Relates closely with:
• Food service manager/head cook
• Door of Faith staff
• Door of Faith residents
• Other kitchen volunteers
• Volunteer Coordinator

Purpose: Residents at the Door of Faith have graduated from the STEP program and are dependent on the staff and volunteers to provide daily meals with warm, friendly service. A Faith Café Meal Server will work humbly alongside other kitchen staff and volunteers as they prepare, serve and clean up meals for the men at the Door of Faith.

Duties:
• Serving food to residents
• General cleaning
• Other duties as assigned

Time Commitment:
Once a month or once a week for 2-3 hours, you will choose one day (or more) and time per week. A 6 month time commitment is preferred

Qualifications:
• Be in agreement with Hope Ministries’ Mission, Statement of Faith, Core Values and Purpose
• Comfortable with praying alongside others
• A servant heart
