Position Title:
Learning Center Tutor

Facility/Location: Door of Faith

Relates closely with:
• Director of Men’s Ministry
• Door of Faith Staff
• Door of Faith resident
• Volunteer Coordinator

Purpose: The role of a tutor is to provide opportunities for residents of the Door of Faith to learn skills such as typing, resume assistance, GED preparation, email/internet training, homework assistance, reading, and writing. We invite you to become a tutor and bless these men who were broken and are now on track for restoring their lives and once again become productive members of society.

Time Commitment:
2 hours a week for 3 months, you will choose one day and time per week as your schedule allows

Qualifications:
• Be in agreement with Hope Ministries’ Mission, Statement of Faith, Core Values and Purpose
• Comfortable with praying alongside others
• A servant heart
• Computer skills
• Must be male
• Responsible and accountable
• Report attendance to the Director of Men's Ministry

• Schedule a Hope Ministries Community Awareness Tour
• Arrange a signature for a background check
• Schedule a VIP Orientation
• Schedule an on-site facility orientation
