Position Title:
Men’s Mentor

Facility/Location: Door of Faith

Relates closely with:
• Director of Men’s Ministry
• Door of Faith Staff and Case Managers
• Door of Faith resident assigned
• Volunteer Coordinator

Purpose: It is so important for healing hearts to have someone to trust and to share their joy and their pain. A Men’s Mentor will befriend, encourage, guide, and be a Christian role model for an assigned Door of Faith resident. You both will surely be blessed by this relationship.

Time Commitment:
Once a week, you will choose one day and time as your schedule allows. A 6 month commitment is preferred

Qualifications:
• Be in agreement with Hope Ministries’ Mission, Statement of Faith, Core Values and Purpose
• Comfortable with praying alongside others
• A servant heart
• Must be 25 years or older
• Must be male
• Responsible and accountable

Complete an on-line application. The volunteer coordinator will contact you to complete the following:

• Schedule a Hope Ministries Community Awareness Tour
• Arrange a signature for a background check
• Schedule a VIP Orientation
• Schedule an on-site facility orientation
