Resident Baby Shower—Friday, April 18, at 1 p.m.
One of our residents at Hope Ministries Center for Women and Children, Nadine, is having a baby . . . and Empowering Women are throwing her a shower! The event will include a game, refreshments and a gift of diapers. Contact Leslie to RSVP!
Mother’s Day Event—Friday, May 9, at 12:30 p.m.
We’re excited to welcome special speaker Kristen Hansen of House of Colour who will present a program entitled, “How to Enhance Your Color and Points of Interest for Your Personal Appearance.” The program will include a brief demonstration with two to three volunteers as well as time for Q&A.
Tea & Panel Discussion—Wednesday, June 18, at 2 p.m.
Join us for our first LEARN event that will include tea and an opportunity to learn about what life recovery looks like at Hope Ministries. We’ll have a panel of staff members who will answer your questions and talk about the hope and restoration women experience in our program.

- Boutique helpers wanted! We are looking for more volunteers to help out in our Count Your Blessings Boutique. If you’d like a meaningful volunteer opportunity, just reach out to Leslie.
- Let’s Connect! Our volunteer steering committee would love the opportunity to get to know each of you. Coming up, we’re going to work on scheduling a bi-monthly Empowering Women coffee date for anyone interested. Stay tuned for dates and details.
