06 Nov Christmas Volunteer Registration—Open Now!

We’re so thankful to the 100+ people who have signed up to volunteer at our 2023 Thanksgiving Meal Outreach! Those spots are now filled, BUT you can still help out this holiday season as we’ll need a whole new round of volunteers for our Christmas activities.

Registration is now open for Christmas volunteering!

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Saturday, Dec. 23*—we’re looking for onsite help accepting donations during our big Food Donation Day event.
• Monday, Dec. 25—we need both onsite volunteers to help assemble, pack and serve meals and dozens of meal delivery driver teams.

You can get the details about our various holiday volunteer positions here. Start and end times vary for different roles and shifts, but most take place in the morning.

Onsite volunteers must be 13 or older. If you have younger children, please consider signing up as a meal delivery driver team. You just need a vehicle large enough to hold around 20 paper sacks full of meals and your own GPS. We’ll provide a list of addresses and details about your delivery route prior to the holiday.

*Please note, our food donation day date is different this year. Usually we host it on Christmas Eve, but since Dec. 24 falls on a Sunday this year—and we want to give volunteers and our staff the opportunity to go to church that morning—we bumped donation day to Saturday.
