M25 Volunteers play a vital role in our ministry, serving primarily in the roles listed below. If you're interested in becoming a regular, high-impact volunteer at Hope Ministries, just follow the steps here and sign up to attend our next Hope 101 session!

Help serve meals at our Hope Cafe, where we provide three free meals every day of the year!

We need class facilitators for recovery program classes for men and women (curriculum is predetermined) plus instructors for classes such as jewelry-making and fitness at our Hope Center for Women and Children.

We can always use an extra pair of hands to help accept and sort donations at our two ENCORE Thrift Stores (4640 Merle Hay Rd in Urbandale and 500 E Army Post Rd in Des Moines).

We're looking for committed leaders for chapel services and daily devotions. We have chapel every night of the week at our Bethel Mission men's emergency shelter and on Tuesdays and Thursdays at our Door of Faith men's recovery center. We also have daily devotions on weekday mornings for women at Hope Center for Women and Children.

We can use office assistance both at our Administrative Office in Pleasant Hill and at our Hope Center for Women and Children. Office help includes answering phones, data entry, filing and more. A variety of shifts are available!

Help with our Tuesday and Thursday Kids Nite activities or lead a Friday Family Fun Night at our Hope Center for Women and Children. We can also use weekend child care help.

Our Saturday morning street ministry--Hope on the Streets--is led by Hope Ministries staff serving alongside M25 volunteers, ministering to individuals on the streets in the downtown Des Moines area.

Verse of the Month
