Your generosity is empowering and uplifting our homeless neighbors . . . and helping them take their next steps in life!
Here’s what some of those next steps look like:
David was homeless for three years, living in a tent. When he first came to Hope Ministries, he was simply looking for warm meals and safe shelter. But when he learned about our long-term life recovery program for men, he knew it was what he needed to get sober and get back on his feet. Today he’s thriving in our program!
Alyse wanted a better life for her twins . . . and herself! She recently completed one year of life recovery programming, called CORE, at our Hope Center. She got clean and found new focus for her future. After celebrating her CORE graduation, she and the twins moved down south and reconnected with Alyse’s older children.
When Kole couldn’t stand his life of addiction any longer, he came to Hope Ministries for help. That was more than three years ago! Today, he’s sober and joy-filled. One of his more recent “next steps”? He now works as a cook at our Hope Cafe! It’s an opportunity for him to serve and encourage men whose shoes he’s walked in.
