Community dining hall providing three free meals every day
Connected to our Bethel Mission facility at 1310 6th Avenue in Des Moines. 
Our meals are provided to anyone regardless of race, creed, religion or personal situation. Our community meals times are as follows:

Monday through Saturday

Breakfast: 7 a.m.

Lunch: 12 p.m.

Dinner: 5 p.m.

Sunday

Breakfast: 8 a.m.

Lunch: 1:30 p.m.

Dinner: 5 p.m.

Services for veterans 

In addition to the shelter and meals we provide for veterans, our case managers also assist veterans in accessing other available services.

Medical services 

Hope Ministries partners closely with Primary Health Care. We also have specialized volunteers who provide medical evaluations for residents at our Door of Faith.

Hope Prison Outreach

Helping former inmates transition and assimilate back into society.

If you are seeking help that does not seem to fit into the above areas, you may want to try calling 2-1-1. The Iowa 2-1-1 First Call for Help call center provides free, confidential information about health and human services.
