Each year, we deliver 1,000+ meals on the Saturday before Easter plus serve a special Easter luncheon onsite at our Hope Cafe! We need your help to make it happen. Here’s what you need to know:
Easter Saturday (April 4) Volunteer Needs
Onsite Volunteers: Onsite volunteers will help assemble, package and load meals to be delivered around Des Moines. They’ll also help us serve our Easter meal at Hope Cafe, decorate, clean up, etc. Onsite volunteers must be 13 or older.
Meal Delivery Driver Teams: Driver teams will deliver meals around Des Moines. We’ll provide a list of addresses ahead of time. You need a vehicle large enough to hold around 20 paper sacks full of meals and your own GPS. This is a great opportunity for families with younger children.
