Volunteer as a Group

Serve side by side. Make an even greater impact.

Group Volunteering Matters

Serving together strengthens bonds and blesses neighbors in need.
Families, churches, coworkers, and civic groups are all welcome.
Group projects give young people (13+) a chance to serve alongside adults.
Planning ahead ensures every group can make a meaningful impact.

Opportunities for Groups

We’ve got a variety of serving opportunities for volunteer groups, as well as some great team-building activities… including our new escape room experience! Keep reading to learn more. To let us know you’re interested in any of these options, just fill out the group volunteer application.

Serve Meals Together

Provide a full meal for our Hope Café (200 served), Door of Faith (60), or Hope Ministries Center for Women and Children (100). Groups can also supplement meals with casseroles or salads, or sign up to serve a meal—spots often fill several months in advance.

Hands-on Projects

Yardwork, cleaning, pantry organization, or other special work projects around our centers.

Donation Drives

Collect needed supplies like hygiene items, paper products, or pantry goods. We are also looking for groups who can commit to being regular Dairy Donors or Produce Partners. Contact us for all the details.

Childcare Help

With more kids than ever at our Hope Center, we are often looking for groups to help out with child care while moms are in classes or other activities. Contact us for specific times and needs.

Awareness & Team-Building Experiences

  1. JOURNEY Escape Room

An interactive experience that teaches about the root causes of homelessness and the journey of recovery. Learn More about JOURNEY Escape Room

  2. Hope Experience

At Bethel Mission, your group will assemble hygiene kits or laundry packets, hear a resident’s testimony, and tour the shelter. If your group is interested in this opportunity, just fill out our group volunteer application and a staff member will get back to you to talk about potential dates and times.
