It’s that time of year—we’re working on plans for our big Thanksgiving and Christmas outreaches! Like past years, we plan to deliver thousands of meals around the Des Moines area to individuals and families in need. We’ll definitely need the help of volunteers. Due to COVID-19, we will be taking health/safety precautions including masks, social distancing and temperature checks.

It takes a LOT of food to serve and deliver 3,000+ meals on Thanksgiving . . . and again on Christmas! You can help us out by donating food on Wednesday, November 25—the day before Thanksgiving.
Due to COVID-19, our Thanksgiving Food Donation Day will be a drive-through event this year. We invite you to stop by our Bethel Mission facility (1310 6th Avenue in Des Moines) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, for a contactless drop-off.
