We have been hard at work creating an exciting new challenge! Introducing JOURNEY: A Hope Ministries Escape Room Experience.
With the incredible help of some of our volunteers, we’ve put together an escape room activity perfect for youth groups, church small groups, corporate groups and more! JOURNEY is meant to teach groups about both the root causes and difficult challenges of homelessness, as well as what the journey to life recovery looks like at Hope Ministries.
We invite you to join the journey by filling out the form below to schedule your time to participate in this fun—and challenging!—experience.
Some things to know:
- Suggested donations will be accepted upon arrival through cash, check or card. (Requested amount: $15/youth and $20/adult)
- Participants must be 13 or older.
- The escape room takes place at our Bethel Mission men’s shelter located at 1310 6th Ave. in Des Moines.
- The Escape Room takes place on the second and fourth Wednesdays each month from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. You can expect to spend about 1.5. to 2 hours in the escape room experience including an introduction and debrief.
