Upon making a donation, you can elect to receive an automatically generated receipt that will be sent to the email address you provide.

Donate Stock
We accept stock donations in publicly traded, domestic common stocks. Stock donations are one of the most tax-efficient ways to give to charity. Your stock donation is tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law; if you pay taxes in the U.S. By making a charitable gift, you may also be eligible to significantly reduce what you would otherwise owe in capital gains taxes.

How Can I Donate Stock To Hope Ministries?
Donating stock is safe and easy. Using the donation form on this page, making a charitable gift of stock is a quick, five-step process:
- Select your stock ticker and confirm the company name in the donation form
- Enter your gift amount
- Type in your email address and info for the receipt
- Enter your brokerage account information
- Virtually sign and make your gift!
Upon making a donation, you will receive an email notification from The Giving Block that your gift is being processed. In some circumstances, you may need to take action with your broker. The email will have instructions on any next steps.
Charitable donations of stock are processed safely and typically within 6-8 business days with The Giving Block in partnership with Renaissance Charitable Foundation. Processing times can be longer during December or when dealing with restricted stock.
Donate Cryptocurrency
Donating cryptocurrency is a non-taxable event, meaning you do not owe capital gains tax on the appreciated amount and can deduct it on your taxes. This makes Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency donations one of the most tax efficient ways to support our work.

Endowment Giving
When you make a donation to our Hope Iowa Endowment, you give a gift with both immediate and long-term benefits! Endowment donations are invested. A portion of the annual income from the investment is used to address immediate needs at Hope Ministries. The remaining funds are reinvested to ensure indefinite support.

Donate Clothing, Food, Supplies and Other Items
We accept donations of clothing, food, supplies, household goods and more. Some in-kind (non-monetary) gifts are used in our ministry centers and others are sold in our thrift stores, with proceeds supporting our mission.
